| Our
values guide us in achieving our mission and vision. Mothibi Technologies
has set and will meet three organizational goals:
Goal
One: Measurement standards
Establish Mothibi Technologies as a base of national traceability
and international comparability structure for measurement in Information
Technology, and provide the fundamental basis of the nation’s
measurement system through the following:
- Develop
global inter-comparability for information technology measurements.
- Develop
global inter-comparability for physical measurements.
- Support
and strengthen the vertical traceability structure in South
Africa.
- Support
and strengthen voluntary standards organizations.

Two: Information Technology
- Assure that
South African industry has access to accurate and reliable data.
- Develop procedures
for data access, facilitate data exchange and disseminate appropriately
formatted data.
Goal Three: Measurement Science
- Address and
anticipate future measurements needs of the nation by performing cutting-edge
research
- Maintain a strong
research program to support the measurement and standards infrastructure.
- Establish new
measurement capabilities to support new or advanced technology development
and dissemination.
- Provide the
fundamental basis for global information technology decision-making.
